COOL CAT AWARD

Congratulations to the COOL CATS at Ignacio School District

Rylan Pierce is the elementary school COOL CAT because he tries hard to get his work done. He values learning and is making great progress. We are proud of you Rylan!

Sydnee Cruz is a COOL CAT because she is a very cooperative 4th grader who accepts responsibility. We can depend on Sydnee to set a good example in citizenship as well as scholarship.  She is a pleasure to have in class. Ignacio Intermediate School is proud of you, Sydnee!

Brianna Henderson values education.  She applies what she learns in lessons, asks for assistance to clarify understanding, and brings her pleasant, positive attitude to school every day.  Brianna is a Cool Cat from the Intermediate School!

What makes 8th grader Wyatt Hayes a COOL CAT?  Timmy Williams says “it’s because he is such a great athlete!  He runs fast and can really throw the ball.  He’s focused, and he is a role model for younger players on his team.”  “He is a good friend.  We’ve been friends ever since he moved to Ignacio,” says Chase Sanchez.  “He’s funny.”  His teachers have noted that he had a 4.0 GPA first quarter, and that he has been absent only 3 class periods so far this year.  He is a member of the Leadership team and plans to take the ACT Now! class next semester.  Keep your cool, Wyatt, and enjoy your success!

Kashina Perry is President of NAYO, Chapter President of FFA, student representative on the SUCAP board and a Native American Jingle dress dancer. Kashina represents Ignacio High School respectfully not only as a student, but also in the community and as a state representative. She is caring, always has a smile and positive attitude. In case of school closure, information may be found on the website, television, radio and the school district emergency dialer. If you have a cell phone that is not receiving calls properly, (i.e., hangups-two or three words and it shuts off, etc.) it is due to your ringtone.

The minute the system hears a voice it automatically starts the message. Should you have problems with this, please check the website for information on the situation.
