Parents can help prevent Cyber Bullying

Despite Cyber bullying prevention units that are currently a part of the Ignacio School District's computer classes, we have begun to see some issues here at the schools. Please check your student's cell phone texts, MySpace, and Facebook accounts on the internet with regularity. There have been some problems with inappropriate messages and comments using cell phones and internet accounts. Please be advised that any harassing or threatening messages sent OR forwarded from cell phones or email will be dealt with in the most serious manner applicable under our discipline policies. If you become aware of a serious situation, please contact the schools as soon as possible.
